Start here
- Download the installer for Windows, macOS, or Linux.
- Paste your license — a 6-month key, two devices.
- Open Settings → Model (or Settings → Providers) and pick a model.
- Chat. Skills, memory, messaging, and tools are all in the app.

What ships
The public site ships the complete desktop application (and the phone clients). There is no public source archive, no git clone, and no package-manager install from source.
Your data stays on this machine under ~/.hermes/ (config, keys, sessions, skills). That folder name is a compatibility path, not a product name.
