Installation

MihaEL is a licensed desktop application. Download the signed installer for your OS and run it. Source is not published.

Download​

Get the package from the MihaEL site:

  • Windows — .exe (NSIS) installer
  • macOS — .dmg
  • Linux — AppImage, .deb, or .rpm

Verify checksums if you want: Desktop releases.

After install​

  1. Launch MihaEL.
  2. Paste your license key (MIHAEL.1.…) when asked, or later in Settings → License.
  3. In Settings → Model or Settings → Providers, choose a model (Nous Portal OAuth, an API key, or a custom endpoint).
  4. Start a chat.

A 6-month key activates 2 devices — typically this computer and one phone.

Phone​

The Android APK and iPhone home-screen client are chat clients. They do not run the agent on the phone. Use Host my agent in the app, or point the phone at a machine already running MihaEL. See Mobile.

What is not supported​

  • Installing from source, git, PyPI, Homebrew, or AUR
  • Upstream Nous install scripts (those clone a different product)

If an installer is missing for your OS, it appears after a build on that host. Check the download grid.
