Local AirLLM (optional)

MihaEL can use cloud APIs or an optional on-device AirLLM process. They are separate. Enabling AirLLM does not remove your API keys; it only points new sessions at the local server.

Optional, not the default

AirLLM is off until you enable it. Switching mid-conversation would break prompt caching — enable it, then start a new chat.

In the app

Settings → Providers → Local AirLLM. Set a Hugging Face id or a local path, optionally make it the main model for new sessions, then start the server.

The phone never runs AirLLM. Enable it on the desktop (or hosted) server, then chat from the phone with whatever that server uses.
